Shopping (apart from daily needs like veggies and groceries)
typically constitutes of buying clothes, shoes, bags or any lifestyle products
(Mobiles, watches, sunglasses or cameras). One would not buy these items on
regular basis. Buying them once in a while in physical retail shops -
traditionally at malls, shopping centers, commercial streets - provides 'retail
therapy'. With lack of many places for outing - especially in tier-3 cities in
India - shopping provides a great outing opportunity for entire family.
Will I get various brands of above products in tier-3 cities? Even
in tier-1 or tier-2, would I want to venture out in chaotic traffic and reach
the destination in irritated mood for shopping? Would it not be a pleasure to
browse through various brands at the click-of-a-button, relaxing in living room
sofa? http://yebhi.com offers all these products
with a wonderful store-front interface online. The selection of items based on
different criteria (category, size, color or price) is very intuitive.
Navigation is top-menu based with drop-downs on mouse-over. The 'About' section
on items we select at the bottom of a page is very thoughtful. The header part
has all the useful items - company branding, contact details, cash on delivery,
free shipping and 30 days money back guarantee (I wonder how this features is
being used / abused in India).
If I belong to old school, would I bet on buying a bag or a shirt
without feeling the texture of it? How can I be sure about the size of my
trousers or shoes? As it is all about brands, trying it once or twice will
probably allow me to settle with a suitable brand and size.
In the internet age, the meaning of 'Window Shopping' is getting
altered - using a 'Windows' based computer and browsing through online shops
like http://yebhi.com :-)
